PCI investigators average over 25 years experience and are former chiefs or senior investigators in their employment history. PCI employees are not "Subcontractors" like some firms use, but are responsible and Certified Fire Investigators, covered by our comprehensive insurance and receiving our continuing education, supervision & support to provide effective professional services. They are recognized, successful experts with many contacts. They have investigated thousands of fire losses, some of them the most notable in Texas and area history. Fire investigation certifications, proper licensing and CGL insurance coverage is, of course, in place. Michael Chaney, PCI's Chief Fire Investigator, has successfully testified in court many times. He has been an insurance fire claims investigator since 1980 after initial service as a fire inspector and fire & arson investigator in north Texas. He supervises the firm's loss investigations and employees, who are also highly qualified and located in south Texas. While we serve Colorado, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and occasional work in Mexico, most of our work is in Texas.
